MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.5 - Accelerated Storage Stability at 110°C
We perform lubricants testing by military specification MIL-PRF-7808, which includes an accelerated storage stability test run on oil at a high temperature. To measure the storage stability, two 1-gallon cans containing the test oil are placed in an unvented oven which is maintained at a stable high temperature throughout the test. A 500-ml sample is removed from each can after 48 and 168 hours of storage and FTM 5321 - Lead Corrosion is performed on each sample.
The lubricating oil described by MIL-PRF-7808 - Aircraft Turbine Engine Lubricating Oil is used in specific models of aircraft turbine engines, helicopter transmissions, accessory and auxiliary power units, and other types of equipment that require a synthetic base oil.
We also perform storage stability testing by ASTM D4625, ASTM D5304, FTM 3465, FTM 3467, IP 378, MIL-PRF-3150 §4.5.5, MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.4, MIL-PRF-83261 §4.4.3, and MIL-PRF-83363 §4.4.2.
