ASTM D1744 - Standard Test Method for Determination of Water in Liquid Petroleum Products by Karl Fischer Reagent

 

We perform testing by ASTM D1744 to measure the water content in lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and other petroleum products using Karl Fischer reagent. This test method is used to determine the water content in liquid petroleum products using Karl Fischer (KF) reagent and a precision auto-titrator. 

We also perform water content, water contamination, and water resistance testing by ASTM D1264ASTM D1401ASTM D1533ASTM D1796ASTM D2709ASTM D4006ASTM D4007ASTM D4049ASTM D4928ASTM D95ASTM E203FTM 3463IP 386ISO 10337ISO 3733, and IP 74. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
