FTM 3465 - Storage Stability Test of Fluids and Lubricants

We perform lubricants quality testing by FTM 3465 to determine the storage stability of aircraft turbine lubricants, hydraulic fluids and other fluids. It consists of storing the sample in the dark in a closed container for 12 months at 23.8 °C and then inspecting it for changes in homogeneity.

We also perform storage stability testing by ASTM D4625ASTM D5304FTM 3467IP 378MIL-PRF-3150 §4.5.5MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.4MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.5MIL-PRF-83261 §4.4.3, and MIL-PRF-83363 §4.4.2. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
