ISO 4262 - Carbon Residue - Ramsbottom Method

We perform testing by ISO 4262 to calculate a fuel's carbon residue, which is an approximation of the fuel's combustibility and tendency to form deposits.

We also perform carbon residue testing by ASTM D189ASTM D4530ASTM D524, and IP 14. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types. Click on the test method number to learn more about each test.
