ASTM E203 - Water Using Volumetric Karl Fischer Titration

We perform fuel testing by ASTM E203 to measure the free water and water of hydration content in petroleum products using volumetric Karl Fischer titration. Titration techniques using Karl Fischer reagent are widely used for the determination of water. This test method is intended as a general guide for the application of the volumetric Karl Fischer titration for determining free water and water of hydration in most solid or liquid organic and inorganic compounds.

We also perform water content, water contamination, and water resistance testing by ASTM D1264ASTM D1401ASTM D1533ASTM D1744ASTM D1796ASTM D2709ASTM D4006ASTM D4007ASTM D4049ASTM D4928ASTM D95FTM 3463IP 386ISO 10337ISO 3733, and IP 74. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
