ASTM E2009 – Oxidation Onset Temperature of Hydrocarbons by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
We perform differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) testing by ASTM E2009 to determine the oxidative properties of hydrocarbons under controlled temperatures. This test method also uses pressure differential scanning calorimetry. Oxidation onset temperature is a relative measure of the degree of oxidative stability of the sample material at a given heating rate and oxidative environment.
