ASTM D5304 – Assessing Middle Distillate Fuel Storage Stability by Oxygen Overpressure

 

We perform diesel fuel testing by ASTM D5304 to assess the potential storage stability of Grade No. 1D and Grade No. 2D diesel fuels according to ASTM D975 - Diesel Fuel Oil Specification. This test method applies to either freshly refined fuels or fuels already in storage.

We also perform storage stability testing by ASTM D4625FTM 3465FTM 3467IP 378MIL-PRF-3150 §4.5.5MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.4MIL-PRF-7808L §4.4.5MIL-PRF-83261 §4.4.3, and MIL-PRF-83363 §4.4.2. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
