ASTM D2112 – Oxidation Stability of Inhibited Mineral Insulating Oil by Pressure Vessel

We perform lubricants quality testing by ASTM D2112 to evaluate the oxidation stability of new mineral oils that contain a synthetic oxidation inhibitor. This is a control test of oxidation stability of new, inhibited mineral insulating oils for determining the induction period of oxidation inhibitors under prescribed accelerated aging conditions. ASTM D2112 may also be used to check the continuity of oxidation stability of production oils.

We also perform oxidation stability testing by ASTM D2272ASTM D2274ASTM D2440ASTM D525ASTM D7462ASTM D873ASTM D942ASTM D943DIN 51587EN 15751IP 142IP 388IP 40ISO 12205ISO 4623, and ISO 7536. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
