MIL-PRF-372E §18.104.22.168 - Freezing Stability Test
We perform testing according to Military Specification MIL-PRF-372E; this test measures the stability of a weapons cleaning solvent under freezing conditions. The cleaner is placed in a stoppered tube and frozen at -54 °C for 16 hours, followed by 8 hours at 25 °C. This is repeated three times, and then the test tube is allowed to stand at 25 °C for 16 hours. The sample is then examined for any sign of separation.
We also perform thermal stability testing by ASTM D2070, ASTM D6468, ASTM E487, ASTM E537, FTM 3411, FTM 3458, FTM 3459, IP 467, MIL-H-22072 §4.6.3, MIL-PRF-3150 §4.5.4, MIL-PRF-32033 §22.214.171.124, MIL-PRF-372E §126.96.36.199, and MIL-PRF-87252 §4.5.5.
