MIL-PRF-372E §188.8.131.52 - Heating Stability Test
We perform testing according to Military Specification MIL-PRF-372E; this test measures the stability of a weapons cleaning solvent under heating conditions. The cleaner is placed in a loosely stoppered tube and heated at 66 °C for 30 minutes. After the heating period, the sample is cooled to 25 °C and examined for any sign of separation.
We also perform thermal stability testing by ASTM D2070, ASTM D6468, ASTM E487, ASTM E537, FTM 3411, FTM 3458, FTM 3459, IP 467, MIL-H-22072 §4.6.3, MIL-PRF-3150 §4.5.4, MIL-PRF-32033 §184.108.40.206, MIL-PRF-372E §220.127.116.11, and MIL-PRF-87252 §4.5.5.
