MIL-PRF-372E - Weapons Solvent Cleaning Compound Specification

We perform testing by military specification MIL-PRF-372, which covers a cleaner used to clean the bores of small arms and automatic aircraft weapons. This type of bore cleaner is used in removing primer salts and as a temporary preservative for metallic items. This bore cleaner is a highly penetrating mobile liquid and is intended for use in cleaning the bores of small arms and automatic aircraft weapons. The material provides a temporary rust-resistant coating for the cleaned surface.

The following is a list of tests required by Specification MIL-PRF-372D. Some of these tests are customized for this exact specification. Alcor Petrolab and Phoenix Chemical Laboratory specialize in unusual and custom testing, and our testing capabilities are continuing to expand; to discuss the exact testing you need, contact one of our laboratories today. To see more information about one of these tests, click on the test method number.
