ASTM D5222 - High Fire-Point Mineral Electrical Insulating Oils
We perform testing by Specification ASTM D5222, which covers a high fire-point mineral oil based insulating fluid used as a dielectric and cooling medium. High fire-point insulating oil, unlike conventional mineral insulating oil, has a fire-point of at least 300C. This type of insulating oil can also be referred to as ‘less flammable’ mineral insulating oil.
