ASTM F1111 - Corrosion of Low-Embrittling Cadmium Plate by Aircraft Maintenance Chemicals

We perform testing by ASTM F1111 to determine the corrosive effects of aircraft maintenance chemicals on cadmium plating used in aircraft. This test is used to determine whether low embrittling cadmium plated parts are liable to be corroded or damaged by aircraft maintenance chemicals during routine maintenance.
